FILE FORM INC-20A (DECLARATION FOR COMMENCEMENT OF BUSINESS) ONLINE ON BEHALF OF YOUR PRIVATE LIMITED COMPANY IN SHAHDARA, KARAWAL NAGAR, LONI, MANDOLI, YAMUNA VIHAR, BHAJANPURA, AND NEARBY AREAS THROUGH THE MCA (MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS) PORTAL.
Steps to File INC-20A Online:
Step 1: Log in to the MCA Portal
- Visit the MCA website.
- Click on Login/Register (If not registered, create an account).
- Use the Director’s Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for authentication.
Step 2: Download & Fill Form INC-20A
- Go to MCA Services > Company e-Filing > Forms Download.
- Search for Form INC-20A and download it.
- Open the form using Adobe Acrobat Reader and start filling it.
Step 3: Enter Company Details
- CIN (Corporate Identification Number) – Enter the company’s CIN (find it on the MCA portal).
- Click on Pre-Fill – It will auto-fetch details like company name, registered office address, etc.
- Enter the Date of Incorporation.
Step 4: Provide Business Details
- Bank Account Details – Enter:
- Bank name
- Branch
- IFSC code
- Account number (The Company must have a current account).
- Attach a Bank Statement or Certificate of Deposit showing proof of capital contribution.
Step 5: Attach Required Documents
- Proof of Capital Contribution (Bank Statement or Certificate from the Bank).
- Signed Declaration by the Director (Mentioning that the company has received the capital and is ready for business).
Step 6: Sign & Upload DSC
- Attach the Director’s DSC (Digital Signature Certificate).
- A practicing Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), or Cost Accountant must certify the form using their DSC.
Step 7: Submit Form & Pay Fees
- Login to the MCA portal and go to the Upload e-Forms section.
- Select and upload INC-20A.
- Pay the Government Fee online.

Step 8: Acknowledgment & Approval
- After submission, you will receive an SRN (Service Request Number).
- Track the status in MCA Track SRN Status.
- If all details are correct, MCA will approve INC-20A within a few days.
- You will receive an email confirmation.
Important Notes:
- Due Date: INC-20A must be filed within 180 days from the date of incorporation.
- Penalty for Late Filing:
- ₹50,000 for the company.
- ₹1,000 per day for the director (up to ₹1,00,000).
- If INC-20A is not filed, the company cannot commence business, and MCA may strike off the company.
